In 1989, Porsche launched the 964 911 Carrera 4, signalling the end of the G model era. Despite retaining classic 911 design cues, the 964 Carrera 4 incorporated 85% new components, including rounded front and rear sections and an automatically extending rear spoiler, significantly improving aerodynamics over its predecessor.

A notable innovation was the introduction of all-wheel drive to the 911 lineup. Controlled electronically, this system typically directed 69% of torque to the rear axle and 31% to the front, with variable distribution based on driving conditions.

The car was equipped with a 3.6 litre engine producing 250 horsepower, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. It achieved a top speed of 162 MPH and accelerated from 0 to 60 MPH in 5.7 seconds, approaching the performance of the previous 930 Turbo.

Inside, the 964 Carrera 4 featured a markedly improved interior with enhanced illumination, a shorter gear lever for precise gear shifts, and an upgraded heating system. The introduction of power-assisted steering further enhanced agility and responsiveness, making the 911 Carrera 4 a standout in both performance and driving experience during its era.

This car was originally delivered new in September 1992 via Issac Agnew Porsche in Belfast it has only covered 58,000 miles and has been meticulously stored and maintained throughout its life.
One family owned the car for the majority of its life some 19 years consecutively with it passing from father to sons.

The car comes with a superb service history documented by Porsche main dealers and marque specialists throughout the years, along with its original leather wallet, manuals, original service book, original tool kit, spare keys, service invoices, and MOT records. A beautifully presented and unmolested example which is becoming increasingly difficult to find.
